About Tree Care in Como

Como is a lakeside community where trees are commonly found close to homes, driveways, roads, and wooded areas. Oaks, maples, and other Wisconsin trees can face strong winds, changing moisture levels, and storm damage. Trees growing near homes also need regular pruning to keep branches away from roofs, buildings, and other property.

Homeowners in Como should also watch for common Wisconsin tree problems, including Emerald Ash Borer and oak wilt. Ash trees may need treatment or removal if they show signs of EAB damage, while oak trees should be handled carefully during the oak wilt risk period. Regular inspections, pruning, and storm-damage checks can help keep trees safe and healthy.
